Winter is here

Snowed this a.m. Temps in the mid 30s.  Dug out my longjohns so I could feed ponies this afternoon. Sun was shining at least. Workers took a break from working on the railroad bridge on the Nickel Plate Trail. Still no middle in the bridge, looks strange. Hunting season will be over this Sunday, can’t wait.

Signed up for RAC 2010, plan on on using the ground training division for Skeeter (whom has new pics on my website) and possibly Mouse. And of course using the incentive program again, to continue logging hours.

Still waiting on Buck’s new harness, seems to be taking FOREVER.

Happy Thanksgiving! We are grateful for family, friends, and our ponies. While nothing is for certain, my home is with my family, my boys. So where ever we may end up, I am happy. May everyone else have a great Thanksgiving! Dian

Bigger or wider is not always be better!

Been a waiting game here, waiting on harness, waiting on my cde book. Of course it hasn’t rained. Course unsure maybe the crew closing down the road to widen the road underneath the bridge has something to do with it. Not a great idea IMO. Will be wrecks.

Flu stay G O N E!

Jeffry is back to eating me out of house and home again, what a relief. He’ll go back to school next week. I get back to work tomorrow night, we have started computer charting, now if they could go direct deposit and a nonsmoking campus.

Busy Busy yet again.

Warm day, no rain. Sacked out Skeeter some, didn’t do bad at all. Gathered up the recycling, it sure adds up! Jeffry exhausted but doing much better.

Flu Update

Spent a few hours in E.R with Jeffry while he got rehydrated via IV. Whew, been a rough month here. Only a week left of hunting season. I will be Thankful this Thanksgiving if everyone is healthy.

Flu revisits…unwelcome guest!

Took Jeffry to Dr. this a.m…he tested positive for influenza A. (presumed h1n1) I feel horrid, it’s obviously d/t my job even though I took precautions. I prefer I get sick, I hate watching my kids suffer!

Something is Missing

Was on my way to work, the bridge on the Nickel Plate trail was missing its middle. Guess they are replacing beams first. Used to seeing it, be glad when it’s fixed. Still raining. Jeffry still sick.

drizzle and cold

Rain continues. Highs mid 40s. Jeffry is fighting flu. Hope he gets better soon, first basketball game Mon. I hate it when kids are ill. Ponies remain in lockdown due to hunting season. Ordered leather harness for Buck, and hobbles.
